Australian Bloodstock welcomes the birth of a beautiful filly born to our broodmare Magdalena at Waterford Stud in WA.
The filly, by Darley’s much hyped stallion Hard Spun, is an absolute stunner and stud manager Dale Brooker commented that, “she is easily the best foal born here in the last few seasons, a really lovely type.”
Magdalena is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Classic Park which won the irish Thousand Guineas. She will be served by our stallion Cardinal Virtue this season.
We’re looking forward to mum and daughter’s development over the coming weeks.
