Former UK stallion ILLUSTRIOUS BLUE will begin his campaign in Saturday’s Chipping Norton Stakes at Warwick Farm. Trainer David Payne will give him a tune up at Rosehill on Tuesday morning in the opening trial, then all systems go for Saturday. TREBBIANO will also likely back up on Saturday in a Benchmark (75) after his luckless 2nd at Randwick on Friday.
