The lightly raced Gerald Ryan trained TREBBIANO gets his chance in a suitable race at Kensington on Friday. Stepping up to 1800m will be more to his liking although drawn a little awkwardly in (12). Saturday sees all roads lead to Melbourne for the Group One Oakleigh Plate where our charge Cardinal Virtue makes his debut in Group One Company. He too has drawn out in (15) and will need a career best ride from J. Winks to give him his best chance to fight out the finish. Good luck to all connections in what is an exciting weekend ahead.
