ILLUSTRIOUS BLUE again ran a creditable race in Saturday’s Sandown Cup. Once again the luck was against us when the skies opened up on Friday and we were presented with a heavy track on Saturday. Blue clearly doesn’t handle it and battled on well under the 59.5kg. He will now have a well deserved spell in preperation for an Autumn Campaign and hopefully conditions to suit.
