Raw Impulse has drawn ideally in barrier four

May 25, 2016

Sam Clipperton has been booked to partner Darren Weir’s four-year-old import, which is undefeated in Australia and could give the champion trainer his first Sydney winner.

Raw Impulse will face 14 rivals with two of his main dangers, Ecuador and Havana Cooler faring much worse at the barrier draw, drawing gates 15 and 13 respectively.

There are 116 runners in total for the nine-race card at Randwick, with the track rated a good (4) at acceptance time. The rail will be out 3 metres.
