Our Free Horse Involvement Program – Update

You may have heard about our Free Horse Involvement opportunities, and I wanted to share an exciting update on our Prague filly.

Though she’s yet to be officially named, this filly comes from impressive stock—her dam, Perfect Rhyme, was a Group 1-placed racehorse who put in some sensational performances. She finished 2nd in the Group 1 Sydney Oaks, just behind the exceptional Bonneval, and even beat VRC Group 1 winner Lasqueti Spirit. With a remarkable record that includes a 2nd-place finish behind Zanbagh, her talent was undeniable, which is why she’s now part of the renowned Kia Ora Stud—arguably Australia’s top breeding farm.

For those unfamiliar with the arrangement, this filly is being raced under a lease with an option to buy. She’s thriving in the beautiful spring conditions and showing immense potential. Leasing horses like her offers a fantastic way for clients to experience the thrill of racing with zero upfront costs. Not only do you get the full experience, but you also receive 80% of the prize money. In this filly’s case, there’s even the option to buy.

Our long-term goal is to see her follow in her mother’s footsteps and compete in the Oaks. It’s no secret that longer-distance races often present less competition, along with more lucrative prize pools. With her breeding and physical attributes, we’re incredibly excited about her future. Even Kris Lees, known for his cool and composed demeanor, has taken a keen interest in her progress—so we’ve got high hopes!

She’ll soon head off to the breakers to begin her training, and we’ve already seen significant growth and transformation. Horses undergo incredible changes during this time of year, and her progress is no exception.
